Immune-boosting drinks

One way to help the body cope with vitamin deficiency during the transition period and increase immunity is to add special vitamin drinks to the diet. They are prepared simply and will not require much effort. But the benefits of taking such an energy bomb daily are enormous.

Vitamin Smoothie

Smoothie is a wonderful drink that can compensate for energy expenses and give body necessary vitamin charge. It is ideal in these spring days to make a drink rich in vitamin C, which will significantly increase immunity. To make it you will need:

  • Half of peeled orange
  • Two small carrots
  • One glass of water
  • One peeled apple

Wash and peel the carrots and apples, cut into cubes and send to a blender. There, add half of the peeled orange and water. Mix in a blender just before use – drink this drink freshly prepared.

Protein-Vitamin Smoothie

We already wrote that to resist colds and viruses, you need to add a certain amount of fat into your diet. The ideal way is to increase the fat content of cottage cheese and add protein smoothie with high fat yogurt to the ration. To make such a smoothie, take:

  • Fresh spinach – 100 grams
  • Fresh pineapples – one handful
  • Peeled Orange – One piece
  • Peeled Kiwi – One piece
  • Flax seeds – two tablespoons
  • Frozen Berries – One handful
  • Live yogurt – one glass

Rinse and clean greens, fruits and citrus, add all ingredients to a blender and mix till homogeneous mass forms. Smoothies are prepared immediately before use, so prepare a portion so that it does not remain for later.

Herbal teas

Chamomile, linden, St. John’s wort, mint and other teas enhance immunity perfectly. And if you add a slice of ginger and lemon to this drink, as well as a spoonful of natural honey, it will save the body from colds and will not allow immunity to reduce. You can brew herbs in a thermos and drink the broth throughout the day in small portions.

Pine tea

A decoction of pine has amazing healing properties. It is prepared simply – pine needles in a small amount, a handful or two, boil for 20-30 minutes, let it brew and drink in small cups with honey and lemon. Pine needles you can collect yourself, but only in a clear forest. If this is not possible, needles can be purchased at pharmacies. Be healthy!
