We’re visiting Nary, the founder and owner of Narybu, a holistic beauty salon space in Marbella.
Narybu’s story is that of Nary Song, its creator. Korean based in Spain for more than 30 years, Nary combines within the best elements of the Korean and Spanish culture. From his homeland she has inherited the demand, the passion for beauty and personal care, and Spanish culture has learned the true importance of enjoying life.
NARYBU Hair & Beauty – Aveda Concept Salon – is the most exclusive beauty salon in the Puerto Banus area of Marbella. A unique space, where each treatment becomes an authentic experience for the five senses, thanks to an environment that cares of every detail and a team in constant search of excellence.
1. What does a holistic lifestyle and mindfulness mean to you? Would you consider yourself and Narybu true followers of the holistic approach to life?
To me, a holistic lifestyle means living in alignment not just taking care of your physical appearance, but also your energy, your thoughts, your emotions, your environment, and your relationships.
It’s about creating balance where beauty, health, spirituality, and inner peace are all part of the same intention.
At Narybu, we don’t just offer beauty treatments we create experiences that nourish the woman as a whole. Using the 5 senses From the music, the scent, the energy, the way we touch, the way we speak. everything is intentional and respectful of the client’s emotional state.
So yes, I do consider myself and Narybu as true followers of the holistic approach. Because we understand that beauty without well-being is just surface. Our mission is to support women in feeling beautiful, empowered, and centered from the inside out.

2. Why did you choose Marbella as the place to build your life and business? What does this city mean to you personally?
I actually came to Marbella for love. I fell in love with the man I’m still married to today.
At the time, my plan was to leave Spain and move to Los Angeles. But something about this place pulled me in. The beauty, the cleanliness, the green surroundings… it felt peaceful and magnetic. Later, I realized it was La Concha the mountain that watches over the city that was holding me energetically.
Marbella became the backdrop of my transformation. I arrived as a carefree girl, living for fun, driven by desire, by adventure. I was always chasing something or someone.
I dreamed of a beautiful life love, marriage, children. I had no fear, but I did have insecurities. I always saw life as something easy, and that gave me freedom to dream.
Now, Marbella reflects who I’ve become: beauty, soul, elegance, and evolution.
3. How would you describe the version of yourself that existed before Narybu?
She was passionate, wild, spontaneous but not always grounded. She loved to conquer, to achieve, to live in her own world. She was driven by emotions and lived in the present, but didn’t always think long-term.
She was bold, ambitious, sensitive a dreamer. She loved connecting deeply with people. But her value was still tied to being liked, to being seen, to always doing more.
That version of me laid the foundation for everything. I honor her. But today, I lead from a much more centered place.
4. Was there a turning point when you realized you had outgrown your past identity?
I’ve had many turning points, but the first one was the most painful: when my family lost everything. From having it all to starting from scratch that moment shaped me.
It was the end of my innocence. I stopped dreaming and entered survival mode. I told myself: “You have to work hard. Be strong. Make money. Grow fast. Rebuild your life.”
That mindset was powerful, but it was also heavy.
Another turning point came when I realized the people around me no longer aligned with who I was becoming. I felt judged, misunderstood, and constantly in conflict. Leaving certain friendships was hard, but necessary for growth.
During COVID, something changed. The world paused and for the first time, I didn’t feel like I was falling behind. I could finally breathe and feel. That’s when my spiritual life truly began.
And this past year? It’s been the most intense of all. I’ve been releasing layers of the past, facing old beliefs, healing from within. I’m not the same woman anymore and I’m proud of that.
5. What does ‘self-creation’ mean to you? Is it reinvention, rediscovery, or something else?
To me, self-creation is not reinvention it’s remembrance.
It’s not about becoming someone new. It’s about removing everything that isn’t you. It’s remembering who you were before fear, trauma, and survival shaped you.
I’ve been many versions of myself the achiever, the caretaker, the leader. But self-creation is about choosing who I want to be now, from a place of truth.
It’s not pretending or performing. It’s choosing again and again to live from alignment. That, to me, is real freedom.
6. What daily habits or mindset shifts helped you build the life you have today?
• having time alone in the morning to start a fresh day
•Meditating or praying ( non negotiable) I started with guidance, now I sit in silence with my higher self asking for Clarity ( for me one of the very important point)
•Journaling with full honesty, not just positivity
•Meditation before sleep ( non negotiable)
•Asking: Is this choice coming from fear or from love?
And above all: I stopped searching outside for what can only be found within.
7. How do you define beauty today? Is it an inner state, an energy, a soul expression — or the harmony of all of these?
Beauty is alignment.
When your energy, your thoughts, your actions all match. When your inner world is in peace and serenity.
When you feel confident and becomes magnetic
I love aesthetics and elegance, of course but true beauty is when a woman feels at peace with herself.
You can see it in her eyes, her walk, her energy. Beauty is the result of choosing yourself again and again.
I chose to speak about self-development because it’s not just a topic it’s the foundation of how I live. My entire life, I’ve been on a journey to understand myself deeply my patterns, emotions, shadows, and potential. I truly believe that when we know ourselves, we create a safe space within. And from that space, we relate to others with more compassion, clarity, and confidence.
P.S. This interview was recorded in July 2025 and could not be published due to the suspension of the project caused by financial and technical difficulties.
After six months of decisions and some quite challenging choices, our founder and team decided to continue with Vitaguru. With this wonderful interview, we are launching a new season of meetings with incredible heroes of 2026, showing you how, in real life, you can create your best reality.
We would also like to emphasize that inspiring entrepreneurs and personalities like Nary Song, with their clear and strong approach, are truly motivating.
