“How did I start running? By myself, in the stadium and in the woods nearby. First, just for weight loss, then for company, and then for pleasure. For 3 years now, my love of running has been accompanied by my favorite team – adidas Runners Kyiv.

The goals and reasons I run, transformed my entire “running path”. And now I understand that I’ve come to the stage when I don’t need to prove to anyone and myself that the next medal will raise me to a higher rank. No need to force. And you can run for pleasure, for pleasure (and health) or according to plan, if I’m preparing for some kind of race.

The main thing I want is to motivate and support newcomers who are just starting to get involved in running. It’s cool to challenge yourself and get emotions from races, medals. And even cooler is to receive words of gratitude from people who have never run and first run their 10 km. No pain, pleasure” says Maria.

  1. You can start running at any moment of your life, easily and freely. Feeling strength, endurance in your body, being able to catch up with a bus approaching a bus stop is priceless. The sensation of one’s body and muscles improves the quality of life and even affects the psychological state and self-esteem.
  2. Social connections and new surroundings. You still do not know how big the running community is in your city? Oh, you are lucky! From the moment you discover running, you will also begin to discover a large number of cool people with whom you always have something to discuss – from the psychology of the “wall” to breakfast before a long run.   4. Let’s be honest, eat deliciously is great. Long run at an easy pace is a good addition to our rich, healthy diet. Aerobic exercise strengthens all body systems, especially cardiovascular, prolongs youth, and also burns quite a lot of calories during exercise and after (if you monitor your pulse zones).
