Art therapy
Our consciousness can be compared with the subtlest instrument, which can be tuned in a variety of ways. One of such ways is art therapy, which allows us to influence our emotions and state of mind.
In practical psychology, art therapy is a special method that allows a person to receive a healing effect with the help of various tools of creativity. Such therapy can diagnose and solve problems as an autonomous method.
The instruments of art therapy are everything that is included in the concept of “creativity” – drawing, modeling, sculpture, music, dancing, theater, reading and much more. This method is particularly effective for stress, neurosis, panic attacks and pathological fatigue.
Art therapy was born in the early 40s of the last century in America. Psychologists have noticed that while enjoying works of art, drawing or listening to music, a person is liberated and opens up to the world. Long-term studies have shown that the creative process is able to free a person from many conventions, restoring a person’s authenticity and freedom. Art therapy promotes the manifestation of emotions and feelings, which we often hide, allowing us to find the source of the problem, localize it and find a way to heal the soul.
In modern psychology, this method is actively used to treat conditions caused by stress and fatigue. Art therapy sessions can be carried out both in professional groups under the supervision of specialists, and at home. To heal the soul with art, psychologists advise visiting museums, theaters, various exhibitions and other events more often.
Create and be inspired. May your soul be healthy!
